Recreational Program

The Difference Between NYS and NPSL!

NYS is a recreational soccer program.
Practice is one hour per week, led by WSC Academy coaches, and games are played on Saturdays.

NPSL is a competitive league in which scores and standings are kept.
A Majority of games are played on Saturdays .

SPRING PREMIER 2021 

This program is available to 2nd - 6th Graders.

What is included:

1-Professional: Coach/Trainer
2-Team Preseason: (4 days, 1.5hrs. of training each day)
3-League: 8 games played on Saturday's. (There may be extra games if WSC qualifies for the playoffs.)
4-Regular Practice: 10 weeks (Twice a week, 1 hour each day) 

Uniform is NOT included in the Season Fee.

Uniform (Adidas): Jersey (3-Away/Home/Practice), Shorts (1), and Socks (1 pair)

ILLINOIS YOUTH SOCCER MANDATES US SOCCER HEADING BAN

Effective immediately, in accord with US Soccer the Illinois Youth Soccer has banned heading for players aged 10 and under for all Illinois Youth Soccer activities including but not limited to Illinois Youth Soccer Member League play, practices and tournaments.

A purposeful header by a player in an age bracket for players aged 10 and under shall be considered an indirect free kick awarded to the opponent.
